If a non-profit chooses to pay their hourly rate employees only bi-monthly shouldn’t there be at least twice a year that a 3 week pay is received? If you cannot afford it, you do not have to bring on someone full time. If the income is more than the expenditure, the nonprofit has a surplus of money, which is the net earnings for the year.
